wILLIAM AND HIS WIFE MARTHA ELIZABETH JONES LIVED IN POPLAR BLUFF, BUTLER, MISSOURI. WILLIAM WAS ONE OF THE ORGANISERS OF THE BUTLER COUNTY RAILROAD COMPANY WHICH WAS STARTED IN 1900. ALL OF TOWNS ALONG THE RAILROAD WERE NAMED BY WILLIAM. PIGGOTT, ARK WAS NAMES AFTER HIS SISTER SARAH ANN WHO MARRIED JOHN PIGGOTT. BROSELY, MO., WAS NAMED AFTER MARTHA´S HOMETOWN IN SHROPSHIRE, ENGLAND
