GOUDREA CEMETERY IN A GHOST TOWN IN ONTARIO, CANADA
Photo shows Terry's father Louis Schipper cleaning Daisy Lapham's neglected headstone Thank you for helping me find a little history on this 29 year old girl. Daisy died October 30th 1918. Her burial place is Goudreau Ontario. She died of the Spanish Flu. I have pictures of the tombstone if you are interested. Her tombstone reads:

To the Memory of
Daisy
Beloved Daughter of
Mr & Mrs Joseph Lapham
of Sarnia, ONT.
Who passed away October 30th 1918
Aged 29 years.
Gone from us but not forgotten
Never shall thy memory fade
Loving thoughts shall ever linger
Around the spot where thou art laid

GOUDREAU CEMETERY, GOODREAU, ONTARIO, CANADA A SOLITARY WOODEN CROSS DISCOVERED BY TERRY AND LOUIS WHEN CLEARING THE CEMETERY. IT IS NOT KNOW WHO IT COMMEMORATES AS ANY INSCRIPTIONS HAVE WORN AWAY, PERHAPS A MINER WHO DIED IN THE LOCAL MINE.
