ELIZABETH BENNETT 1847 - 1933 HEADSTONE IN BERKLEY GRAVEYARD, SOMERSET HEADSTONE OF ELIZABETH BENNETT 1847-1933 DAUGHTER OF STEPHEN BENNETT AND MARY (NEE PARFITT) BENNETT.
The photo of the two graves is Stephen & Mary Bennett on the right and Miss Elizabeth Bennett on the left. Elizabeth Bennett's inscription reads:
"In loving memory of Elizabeth Bennett who died 9th April 1933 aged 84 years.".
It meant a great deal to me to be able to visit the graves in the churchyard, as my great grandmother never had any chance of ever returning home to Berkley, but had kept in frequent contact by letter with her sister Elizabeth and also some nieces.
